What To Expect When Booking Through Your Home Warranty Company
Thank you for choosing Budget Heating, Cooling & Plumbing for your service needs! We are excited to have the opportunity to work with you today. We would like to take a moment to go over a few important details about your service appointment. First and foremost, we want to clarify that we are not a home warranty company.
Retail Customers
Furthermore, when you schedule a service call with Budget Heating, Cooling & Plumbing, please note that a dispatch fee will be charged to send a technician to your home. The technician will diagnose your heating, cooling, or plumbing issue upon arrival. If we diagnose the issue and you decide not to proceed with the repair, you will be charged a troubleshooting fee based on the time spent on diagnosing the problem.
However, if you choose to proceed with the repair, the troubleshooting fee will be waived.
In contrast, if we are providing an estimate, it means we are collecting information to provide a price for adding or replacing new equipment in your home or business. These are fee quotes, but if there is any diagnosing involved, the trip fee and troubleshooting charges will apply as it would be considered a service call.
Home Warranty Customers
However, if you have requested service through your home warranty company, please note that the dispatch fee will be paid directly to them before our technicians come out to your home. This means that we will be providing service at their request and must abide by the rules and regulations outlined in your home warranty contract.
Likewise, please be aware that Budget Heating Cooling and Plumbing is an independent company and has no control over any decisions made by your home warranty company regarding your coverage or any delays in authorizations. However, we are committed to providing you with the highest level of service and will work diligently to complete any repairs or replacements covered by your home warranty as efficiently as possible. The following items may not be covered by your current policy:
- Routine Maintenance
- Detectable pre-existing conditions
- Physical damage or failures caused by people, pests or pets
- Missing or damaged parts or pieces
- The most common homeowner expense is refrigerant.
Subsequently, submitting claims for approval is an essential step when requesting repairs from your home warranty company. Please note that this process may incur additional out-of-pocket expenses that are not covered under your policy. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your coverage, please reach out to your home warranty company for clarification and guidance.
Weatherization customers
Finally, if you have booked a service through a weatherization program, it means that we are providing services through a government agency. In this case, all rules and processes will be followed in accordance with the guidelines laid out by the agency. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the process, please reach out to the agency directly. We are committed to providing quality service and working together with the agency to ensure your satisfaction.
